Business is central to assisting Australia's transition to a zero pollution economy and culture. We engage with business in a number of ways, as we strive for collective impact that can create lasting change.
Our Climate Partners are some of the most respected business in their fields. They are thought leaders, aware and active on climate change and sustainability, with a clear understanding of both the risks and economic opportunities presented by climate change.
If you're a business with an interest to join us, contact us for a conversation today, and note that all partnerships are subject to a due diligence process and Board approval.
The Climate Partner Program is unique. Strong partnerships quickly develop within a tight network of organisations.
Together, we work to catalyse and drive the change and innovation needed to transition to a zero carbon economy and culture. The collective impact of this has delivered real progress.
Other business engagement
As principled pragmatists, we have often built bridges among coalitions of unlikely partners, such as industry groups, large emitting companies, civil society groups and unions.
An example of this from mid-2015 is the
Australian Climate Roundtable of business, investor, welfare, union and environment groups, which we helped build. The Roundtable acknowledged that climate change is impacting Australia, with growing economic, social and environmental costs is as important as its recognition that delayed or piecemeal action will increase the costs of responding to the climate challenge.
